I’m sorry but I feel alot of natives are aware.Selling the smokes off their land doesn’t mean they are different than corner stores that sell smokes on non native land. Also pollution from cars,factories,planes in the sky are not all native doings.

awareness of, and concern about, the environment are luxuries that can be engaged in only after all of the basic needs are met, and there is money and time left over to engage in those persuits.

I take it your not talking about American Indians. So my guess would be 1. That the USA can’t manufacture some of the chemicals used, so we go to 3rd world nations that don’t have the strict laws that we do. Check out where Dupont has most of their chemicals and what not made. 2. Its a poorer country and they will do what they need to keep the commerce of their country going.

Now India is in developing stage, every one are new to the urbanisation and are lacking knowledge of awareness. Its not that we don’t know anything…even US and Uk had suffered lot of development related diseases and environmental hazards.coz there, industrialization was boomed up in between 1800-1900s and was in peek at the time of WW1 and WW2..they overcame every thing then it self…it will take time for us to mature, or else if we should participate in WW3 actively…this causes lot of profit to country in every possilble way…

I think that india is such a country where there is no time to see the basic things
as the country’s of the world are also have the same problem then why they are not aware of it
India is such a wast and a under developing country and the above things what you have mentioned are common in all under developing countries
all the above answers mentioned are of no use and they have lees knowledge about India
as indian government has taken many steps on controlling pollution
I am a indian and according to me i think we are no lees from others .
